Another Slice of a Memory?

More than 20 years ... how long it’s been since I’d been there. I was in high school, with friends, each of us with ten dollars in our pockets and our high-school bookbags in our hands on a Friday afternoon. Gino’s East was just a few blocks from our now dearly departed Quigley North. My school may no longer be there, but the memory remains. I was back today, and the pizza is as good as it was decades ago. And if we’d sat in the same booth that my friends and I occupied years ago, I’ll bet that I would have found my initials carved in the wall, just where I’d left it.
